The mission today was to transfer the money that we had saved in the Halifax and put it in the bank ready to pay off the holiday. So I got up at 10:00 am (how lazy was that) and had a shower. As I went to put my glasses on, the right hand lens fell out, which luckily didn't break. Lisa had a look all over the bathroom floor for me trying to find the screw. No luck so we went down into Lake to the opticians who sorted it out within 3 minutes bless them. Went to Newport with Lisa (Gemma had to go to work at 1pm & Elena was at school). Her eyes lit up as there were Sale signs everywhere and she loves Sales. She bought a black party dress for £9 (should have been £30), a red jumper for £7 (should have been £15) and a black evening bag & earings for £2.50. She is the queen of bargains lol. We had a strawberry milkshake from Thorntons. Andrew met us in Woolies so we posted the letters (including the thank you letters for Uncle Joe the Shorter & Uncle Wally) and carried on to the Halifax and HSBC. We went to our favourite little cafe for lunch and bought a card for Liam. He is taking his driving test at 3pm so we have everything crossed for him.
YAY - LIAM PASSED!!!
