Jimmy Clitheroe

Elena (aged 12) likes lots of things like computer games, drama club on Saturday mornings, High School Musical, Busted, McFly and the like but the one thing she loves more than anything is ... Jimmy Clitheroe!!! Have you ever heard of him? He used to be on the radio when my Dad (aged 67) was a lad!!! We managed to get a disk from e-bay with all his 1/2 hour programmes on it for 99p. I tell you something, it was the best 99p I've ever spent *lol*. She goes around giggling to herself, sometimes actually belly laughing and when we look she is plugged into her MP3 listening to The Clitheroe Kid. Her favourite shows are 'The Evil's of Tomato Juice' & 'A Load of Chinese Junk'. She can actually recite loads of the dialog (which will probably come in handy at drama ~ he, he), and has us in stitches. This morning (example) we were taking her to drama when Andrew spotted our next door neighbours milk sat on their front door step in the full sun. Andrew commented on how, if they weren't careful, they would be getting cheese, not milk :O) Elena pipes up "I asked the milkman for 2 pints, Brown Ale & Mild". How random is that? I don't even ask her now, I just say ~ another one from Jimmy Clitheroe and she laughs & says yes!!!
I think she has my Dad's sense of humour (which I love BTW). The latest rhyme she's learn't ~ If your Bob doesn't give our Bob that Bob that your Bob owes our Bob, our Bob'll give your Bob a Bob on the nose.
