Took Elena to have her hair cut, well actually feathered & layered!! Ooo-err!! She's had a shower to get rid of all those little itchy hairs that drive you mad after a trip to the hairdressers. We've got a list of films as long as your arm to watch, all highly recommended by Caroline the stylist! The Guardian, The Lake House, The Green Mile (I know, I still haven't seen it), The new Harry Potter film when it comes out next month and of course the new Pirates of the Caribbean with the gorgeous Johnny Depp & Orlando Bloom (out on 25th May)!!
I don't have to go to Ryde tonight to take Lisa singing as Liam's not back at Uni until Thursday so he's taken Lisa for me. He's had a job interview this afternoon at Sandown Woolworth's and I'm very pleased to say he has got a job for the summer. Lisa's not looking for a job until she has finished her exams at the end of May. I don't think she'll struggle to find one as most of the Island's work is seasonal, employers are usually crying out for staff during the summer. I haven't seen Gemma or Matt today although Andrew did get a text message from Gem saying they didn't want any tea as they are going to the cinema to watch the new Spider Man.

Oh poor you, sorry its so rainy there. Its been mega windy here but the rain stopped and we had sun this afternoon. LOL about the hoover sucking up the clouds though, great idea.
I've got the lake house down on my list of dvds to watch too. I'm renting with amazon and I think its two down on my list. I've seen the Green Mile, that was good. I'm always looking for recommendations so I might go and look up The Guardian now and see what thats all about.
The DIY is the first bit we've done for a few years so it needs doing REALLY badly. We used to belong to the sailing club and for 3 years would spend almost every weekend down there from april to november. This year with David leaving home and Sarah spending so much time with her boyfriend there is no point in us joining. The best bit is we don't have to wake up very early on sunday mornings and take a whole days food and all the clothes and stuff needed for sailing, and finally we have time to do the very much needed DIY.
And Vanda, thanks for the support and understanding about David leaving home. I was never prepared for this, its a whole new heart wrenching experience for all of us. We are such a close family and it will take some getting used to. He's so happy and thats the main thing.
Wow look, I've practically written a whole story for you lol!
Once again your pictures have left me pining for England... Where exactly are you at again? You said something about an Island...
