May Day

Goodness me it's May today!!! Are the months whizzing by or is it just me? May's a great month in our house, expensive, but great :O) This is my calender so far ...

So much to look forward to!
Well it's a hot day again today and I'm loving it. The basket ball hoop is a big hit. Andrew has screwed it to a board and it hangs above the garage door. The door faces the back lane which hardly gets any traffic so it's really safe for the kids to play. There is no where else high enough to put it and after much deliberation this spot was deemed the best.
Bank holiday weekend this weekend so Andrew and the girls have the day off. I say girls, Gemma is working as am I. The price you pay for working on an Island that depends mostly on tourism. I'm not that bothered as I am not working till 5pm so will have the day free. I had the idea of going to Robin Hill on Saturday afternoon so Elena could come. There is a garden show this weekend and the entrance fee has been reduced to £6.50 each but it will still cost just under £20 and at the moment I need to save as much money as possible to pay for the cooker.
Took Lisa singing again tonight and hurtled round Tesco's with Andrew & Elena. TV dinner of Pizza & Salad tonight. We usually sit up to the table to eat, but tonight we all sat in the front room and watched "The Simpsons".
