WARNING: Don't read if you're feeling depressed :O)
Yep, I've done nothing today, my get up and go hasn't got up and gone, it's packed it's bags & cleared off!! Well, I say I've done nothing, I have made the beds, filled the dishwasher & turned it on, done 2 loads of washing and cleaned Monkey the hamsters tube out, where he insists on weeing ~ yuk. I've hoovered downstairs & taken Lisa to school because it's still pouring down with rain and that's it. I'm not at work until tonight and I've got loads of stuff to do but I haven't done any of it. I think I'm going to blame it on the weather again ~ it's making me feel very compressed (our 'funny' word for depressed ~ lol). Lisa, my little sweetheart, hasn't helped my mood today either (through no fault of her own). On the way to school she was telling me about Liam's parents and how horrible they are. "Do you know," she said "Within 10 minutes of Liam being at home on his birthday they called him a Dick Head & told him he was selfish"! She told me other stuff they had called him and how upset he was bless his heart. I swear I could feel some heart strings actually breaking. I told her not to tell me anymore because I can't stand it and do you know what she said!! "Yes mum, but you don't have to stand there and witness it!!" OMG, what the hell can I do. I want to go round to his house and tear strips off these people. He is the most gorgeous, funny, kind & considerate 19 year old boy I know, what the hell is wrong with his so called parents - arrrggggghhhh ?? Anyway, I've written him a note as he's back home from Uni tonight.

When he left on Wednesday he wrote a little message on the wipe board in the kitchen ~ thanks for everything ~ he is such a darling, I adore him and if he & Lisa ever split up (which doesn't bear thinking about) I think I'd be as heart broken as Lisa. I'm hoping beyond hope that that will never happen but you can't interfere with their lives can you. Anyway back to my note which I hope will console him a little bit ...

You are the most thoughtful, considerate, gorgeous lad we know and we are so pleased you are going out with Lisa! Mind you we have always known she has impeccable taste ;O) It is always our pleasure to have you here and you are welcome any time. We look forward to the weekends when you come home; you are an absolute pleasure to be with. Don't ever change Liam because we think you're perfect just the way you are and we all love you to bits!!
