Today, 23 years ago, Andrew & I married in a little Methodist Church in Chapel-en-
le-
Frith. It was the same Church I had been Christened in and the same one my Mum & Dad had been married in. It was a gorgeous sunny day (unlike today as it's bucketing down with rain). The only minor hitch was the fact that on the eve of my wedding I hadn't got a wedding cake. It's a very long story but to cut it short, the man making it had got the date wrong so it hadn't been done. After many frantic
phone calls by my parents to all their friends I ended up with a magnificent 3 tier cake, beautifully iced, and a sponge cake made by my best friend Adrian and his Mum, decorated with horse shoes with a little card saying ~ just in case :O)
We got married at 2:30pm. The time will always stick in my mind as I worked as a dental nurse & receptionist back then and everyone thought it was hilarious that I would get married at 'tooth
hurty'!!! Get it ~ tooth
hurty ~ 2:30 ~
lol!
Today Andrew bought me a beautiful card and a box of
Thorntons chocolates all beautifully wrapped :O)

And these are our Anniversary cards, one to each other, one from
Gemma & Matt, one from my Mum & Dad, one from Andrew's Mum and one from Jean & John :O)

We've had a roast chicken dinner for tea with home made sausage stuffing and strawberry's dipped in melted Galaxy chocolate. Pure heaven I can tell you. This is the best restaurant you can go to on the Isle of Wight :O) Liam's named it '
Chez H*****d~
lol!
