Family Goings On
Well, what can I tell ya? Andrew was cream crackered last night so went to bed early. We haven't been sleeping very well again but I think it's down to lack of exercise. We are so busy at work with a million things going round our heads that our brain just won't switch off. This was definitely helped when we were going on lots of walks but unfortunately Andrew's toe won't let us at the moment :O( Lisa has a drama exam this afternoon so I hope all goes well (break a leg sweetie!!) It's Elena's last day at school before her French trip. She has drama as usual tomorrow morning then it's packing after lunch because I'm at work all day Sunday. We've got a list sorted out of things she'll need and most of it has been bought so it's just a case of getting organised :O) I saw Gemma briefly this morning as she was dashing off to work. I've done that thing this morning ssshhhhhh housework!! The washings all dry but I've got to put that away yet. I'm at work from 3pm till 8pm so Elena is walking round to me after school. It's change over day at work and is usually pretty hectic. Liam asked me what was happening with Elena after school (isn't he just a darling) and has offered to pick her up and bring her home to save Andrew having to pick her up after work. Just been to Morrisons for Veggies. They are not lasting very long in the heat (I'm not complaining) so I've managed to get them all in the fridge ~ lol!! I would love one of those big American fridges which dispense ice and cold water but alas, our kitchen just isn't big enough {sigh}. It's probably just as well as I would have to take out a second mortgage just to buy one!! Outside is very overcast but it's really warm and I love it :O) All the doors and windows are open and the fans on. I've been taking photos again :O) I spotted this last night and thought how much I love this image. Not because it's a stunning photo or anything like that. It's because it means Andrew's home. The first thing he does when he walks through the door is take off his tie, rolls it up and puts it in the cup :O) He says hello to everyone and then he goes straight upstairs to put his shorts and t-shirt on :O)
Then it got me thinking, is there any little tell tale signs that I was home and yes there is. As soon as I come in I hang my handbag at the bottom of the stairs and yes, it's always open. Lisa always tells me off for leaving it open ~ lol!!
This is my 3191 photo today ...
Look at my herb garden, it's really growing now :O)
The Pinks in amongst the white rock ...
and this little plant. Not sure what it's called but it's beautiful all year. Andrew will know what the name is. It has delicate white bell shaped flowers then the new leaves grow and what a stunning colour they are. The rest of the year it has varigated folliage ~ wow what a cracker !!
To show the ugly side of Mother Nature look ...
