Dewly Grateful

Wow, I was up first this morning, a rare occasion I can tell you! It was really warm outside and there was lots of dew everywhere. On my patio table ... And on the spider webs outside ... I managed to hang out the washing & clean both bathrooms before anyone got up :O) Liam & Lisa were first as Liam's working today until 2pm. Andrew woke Elena up as she had drama this morning and Gemma & Matt were up and out as they were going to the beach. I managed to pin them down for a quick photo before they made there escape :O) I did manage to give "The Secret" a coat of thinking about whilst I drank my tea in the sunshine. The things I am grateful for ... G - Gemma, R - Roof over my head, A - Andrew, T - Teresa, E - Elena, F - Families good health, U - Unending supply of food, L - Lisa. Took Elena to Newport this afternoon and we bought some new school trousers, a white vest top, some black dolly shoes, blue & white beads, a heart necklace, sunglasses & a note pad. I hope she is all sorted for France now :O) Whilst we were in the shoe shop we could hear a band playing outside. We followed the sound into the square where a military band was playing and stood listening to it. Elena spotted a stall giving away candy floss. They were after donations for the IOW Hospice so I gave them all the change in my purse :O) Isn't it amazing what some sunshine & music can do to people. Lots of people were just stood around enjoying the sound. They even applauded after every tune!!! What a wonderful day. Tonight we are going out for tea, a surprise party for Trisha & John.
