Forgot to say, yesterday, Lisa & Liam offered to go shopping, not for a few bits but they wanted to do a 'big shop' ~ yikes. Sent them off with a list, money & my Tesco clubcard and they came back, proud as punch, and asked how much did I think they spent? Looked at the bags, rough guesstimate on what the list entailed and said £40. Lisa, with a huge grin on her face said "No, £30 & we got some BOGOF's (buy one get one free)". I told them they had the job and what were they doing Friday morning!! :O) At least I know she won't starve when she goes to Uni if she can make money stretch that far ~ thanks Lisa, thanks Liam ~ Love you loads xXx
I was cleaning the conservatory this morning and got my hair off with the busy lizzie plant. It keeps dropping petals & bits all over the floor. Everyday I sweep them up and it was driving me mad so it's gone (outside) so I rearranged the plants that are left (as you do) and turned the wax plant round to find it had sprouted a bunch of flowers :O) It's a peculiar plant with big waxy leaves (hence the name) and a bunch of flowers that just feel like candle wax ...
They look like furry little starfish :O) Hand on heart it's a real living plant ~ here!
These are my 3191 photos today. I adore their pictures, don't you? Now, wouldn't you be cross if everyone knew at work that you were ill but still phoned to ask questions about this that & the other? Me yes, Andrew no :S The phone goes and he answers it and then ends up with a flood of calls much to my annoyance. I've told him, let them work it out for themselves, they wouldn't be able to bother you if you were in the Caribbean or in Hospital. But no, he tries to help in anyway he can & I suppose that's one of the reasons I fell in love with him :O) But wouldn't you think they would just give him a bit more breathing space, it's only his 2nd day off for heavens sake!! Quickly snapped this photo of him & then realised he's got a hole in his sock ~ lol!
And this is the culprit, his shin! The doctor drew a line round it last Friday night / Saturday morning so you can see how many washes he's had ~ ROFL!

Cool plant Vanda. You have beautiful flowers indoors and out.
Glad hubby is feeling better
Have to say yeuk to the scabby leg but hope he feels better soon.
I love those flowers, are they really real or is this some sort of late April fools joke? They look as if the are made our of fluffy fabric!! ;-)
Don't know if you're interested but my 'ramblings' blog is here. Feel free to pop over and have a peep and say hello. :-)
Hand on heart Lin, they are real flowers ~ strange aren't they :O)
You've trained that girl well, 10 out of 10 for the shopping bargains :-)
Nice to hear that Andrew is up and about, cringing at the shin though, poor thing.
The flowers are so unusual, they honestly don't look real. Great photo though, shows all the detail.

Oh and tell the people that work with your hubby that I said to leave him alone!! But then... if men have nothing to do, they go nuts!!
