Boring Day

Not done much at all today, booked a hair appointment, been to work, done household chores & that's it. Pretty boring really :O)

OK, just had a look on the Internet at all the things you can do whilst on holiday in Jamaica :O) We did quite a few things the last couple of times we went.

The first time we went, we went by air conditioned bus to Ocho Rios, boarded a catamaran called "Cool Runnings" which took us out to a reef so we could try snorkeling :O) After about an hour we went to Dunn's River so we could climb the waterfall. It was great fun. We also went to Dolphin Cove and spent half an hour swimming with the Dolphins ~ amazing :O)

The second time we went, we took a trip down the Martha Brae river on a raft. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone. We also spent the day at Negril on the gorgeous white sandy beach stopping at Ricks Cafe on the way home to watch the Jamaicans jump off the cliff into the sea below ~ wow.

So what should we do in May? Well we fancy the 'Canopy Tour' but not sure if I'm brave enough ~ lol. This is what the write up says ~ Come back to nature and experience it as it should be experienced.
Your journey through nature will be via a series of decks and platforms, connected by traverses, mounted in the trees of the rainforest. You begin with the complete safety briefing and demonstration of techniques conducted by certified canopy specialist guides who will stay with you throughout your adventure. Then the fun begins with your first traverse, soaring over the Great River.
Your journey continues with eight additional traverses coupled with intermittent nature walks. Each traverse and platform is unique with colorful names such as 'Limestone Cliff', 'Threesome Stop' and the highlight of the Tour, the 'Inter-parish Express' (over one thousand feet long!)!
You will be given a variety of experiences highlighting the diversity of Jamaica's landscape and history. Hear and see the rushing waters below as you traverse up to 35 miles an hour across springs, the Great River and a 150 year old Dam. This amazing experience of gliding silently through a tunnel of trees is the closest you will ever get to feeling what it is like to be a jungle bird and can be found nowhere else in Jamaica.
This is a must see, must do tour, on every Jamaican vacation
!

It's the bits in red that worry me the most ~ LOL!
