Sky's the Limit :O)

Checked my bank statement to day and instantly saw red. Not because we don't have enough money in there but because Sky Digital had taken more money than they should have for the 2nd month in a row! Told Andrew, who rang them, as the accounts in his name. He was fobbed off again which made me so cross, not at Andrew but at such a big company who think they can do exactly as they please. Now I'm not talking about a few pence I'm on about an extra £28.33 last month and an extra £15.00 this month! This is how the conversation went ...
Sky: Yes, sorry, we have made a mistake
Me: Could you put the money back into my bank account please
Sky: Yes certainly, your Sky account has been credited with the money
Me: No, I asked that you put, my money, MY MONEY, back into my bank account
Sky: I'm terribly sorry Mrs H*****d, you would have to put that in writing
Me: (My blood boiling at this point) Did you write to me asking if you could take £50.33 out of my bank last month & £37 out of my bank this month ~ NO! So if you think I am writing to you to ask you to put the money you have STOLEN back into my bank account you've got another think coming!! Get me a manager or a team leader now!
I tell you something I've never been so cross for ages.
Sky: I'm just going to put you on hold whilst I talk to someone
Me: OK
Sky: Sorry to keep you waiting, cue a long explanation of how the mistake happened and how my Sky account was now credited and everything was now OK
Me: No, please put MY money in MY bank account otherwise MY bank account will go overdrawn and I will incur bank charges!
Sky: Another talk to someone else. Hello Mrs H*****d could I just check I have the correct bank details an we will put the money back into your account by 25th August.
Me: Thank you
I'm not joking, these big companies think they can do exactly what they want and me for one ain't gonna let them!
Now I'm down off my high horse ~ lol ~ we went to Shanklin today to the bank, post office, etc. and visited one of mine & Andrew's favourite shop, pick & mix heaven :O) So we are going to pig out on pink chocolate pigs, white mice etc. tonight. Elena fancied a swim in the sea when we came home but we only got as far as the cliff. The wind was making the sea very rough so we decided to head back home instead :O) I found this little mushroom/toadstool growing on the lawn today :O) The good news today is that I've received a voucher to join the RAC. I love Tesco clubcard, we have had such a lot of free stuff from them over the last few years :O) So the latest stuff is free membership for the RAC Roadside/Recovery and £50 worth of vouchers to pay for a Wightlink Ferry crossing ~ cool hey! We've chosen these two because we are taking Lisa to University next month and thought it would be a good idea to get ourselves prepared :O) Not only that, we found 4 mobile phones that we don't use anymore so we are sending them off to Tesco for recycling. You get 500 clubcard points for each one, as long as they turn on, which is worth £5 each. If you use the points in clubcard deals they are worth 4 times as many so all in all we will have £80 worth of deals ~ yay! We are saving them up now for a night's stay at the Hilton near Gatwick to start off our holiday next May :O)
