Lisa's leaving home on Sunday to start a new life at Uni. There, I said it! I know she'll be able to look after herself, she can feed herself and she can use a washing machine. She knows how to change her bed and keep her room clean & tidy. She knows about staying safe and keeping her belongings secure. She's only a ferry crossing and a 2 hour drive away. She's a sensible girl and knows what she want's in life. She knows how to have fun and she's got a friend, Shane, who will be in the same halls as her. She'll be talking to me on MSN or the phone most nights. I have nothing to worry about :O)
See I know all this so why won't my head tell my heart??!!

Aww bless you Vanda. Robbie goes to Stafford, on Sunday also, and as far as I can gather, he has nothing ready. I'm just making a Tesco list of foodie bits - the sort that don't need fridge.
He has (well, he has a lot of issues, but...) attachment problems, so I have a dreadful feeling he will want to load the vehicle with everything he possesses come Sunday morning. He doesn't seem to want to think about how small the uni rooms are.
Well done on the singing Lisa. Which trad unaccomp did she sing? Come to that, which others did she sing?
Chin up chicken, we can sob together. Email me any time.

awwww huge (((HUGS))) Vanda how hard it is when they leave home. The only time I was really grateful that I only had one daughter was when she left home... I don't know how I would've coped if I had, had to go through it again. Thinking of you x
Oh Vanda, I feel for you! I know that heartache and it sure aint a nice feeling!
You will miss her, of course you will, you wouldn't love her as much if you didn't. Thinking of you this weekend. :-)
