What a day!! First of all, I still have a smile on my face and I'm not moaning in anyway ~ lol :O)
Yesterday I forgot to buy a train ticket for Lisa so she can come home for the weekend on 4th October (OMG I can't wait, note to self, buy plenty of tissues to mop up the tears of joy)! It doesn't matter I thought. It's my day off today, I'll just go back to Newport and buy a ticket so Liam can take it with him when he goes to see Lisa tomorrow. Off I toddled to Newport, parked in the car park where Andrew works (still saving money he, he). Walked all the way to the bus station and bought a return train ticket ~ sorted. Walked back and met Andrew in the car park and was pleased to show him the ticket. His little face lit up bless him. I think he's missed her as much as I have. We looked at the ticket and realised that both halves (as it was a return journey) had 4th October on them. So, off we both went back to the bus station to put it right. The guy was very nice and explained that it was correct, the ticket was valid for 1 month from 4th October. No problem.
Next, I went to Tesco (in Ryde) to get veggies, milk etc. Had another fab shop, got £42 worth of groceries for £23, put it in the back of the car and shut the door. Stood there for a moment and thought, I wonder where the car keys are? Looked in the door ~ no. My handbag ~ no. My pocket ~ no. Flip me, there they were, sat on the back seat looking at me and I swear they were laughing. Luckily I had still got my phone on me, so after a quick call to my knight in shining armour (OK, Andrew in a silver Fiat Punto) and a 20 minute wait in the cafe I was back in the car driving home. Thank you Andrew, I don't know what I'd do without you sometimes ~ lol. My excuse is I still have man flu :O)
Got home, put the shopping away etc. Got on the computer and started talking to Lisa on MSN. She wasn't very happy bless her. Liam had text her to say he thought they better call it a day!! To put a very long story short, he has been missing her so much he has become really down and not the Liam we know and love. He's found it really hard without her. I think what's made it worse is that she's having a ball without him. To be totally honest, I think he's being a bit selfish & mean expecting Lisa to be talking to him all the time instead of going out enjoying herself but there you go. I had to be at work at 4pm and with 10 minutes to go, I was trying to tell Lisa I couldn't talk anymore because I had to go, Elena hadn't come back from school and my Mum & Dad arrived. OMG what a day.
Anyway, by the time bed time had arrived it was all calm & peaceful again. Lisa & Liam had made up. Elena arrived just as I had locked the back door to go looking for her. Mum & Dad went off and said they'd pop in again sometime. And I made it to work on time.
If you didn't have the rain, you wouldn't get the rainbows would you :O)

Crikey, what a day is about right! But as you say with no rain there would be no rainbows - I'm loving these little Vanda-ism keep them up. ;-)
Ooh and I keep forgetting to tell you that we joined a local wildlife trust thing a month ago and the lady that signed us up was called Vanda too. I'd never heard that name til I 'met' you. I told her the thing about the orchid that you had written on your blog, she didn't know it and it seemed to make her happier. :-)
