A few days ago Gemma decided that she wanted to go up north to visit Andrew's sister Claire. She's just bought a new (secondhand) car from her bosses husband and so I think she was itching for a road trip :O) It snowballed a bit from there and now includes Elena and them stoppong for the whole of the half term holiday :O) With Lisa at Uni it meant that Andrew & I were in for a weekend alone. A whole weekend, OMG, we could get up to allsorts lol. I suggested a dirty weekend and Andrew agreed. A weekend sorting out the garden!! 'Well you would get dirty' he said, grinning!
You know when the kids are really small and that freedom has been taken away from you. You can't just do whatever you please. Well for years I longed for a moment in time when we had no responsibilities. Just for a few days we could stay in bed, go where we wanted at the drop of a hat etc. Now that time is here I don't want it, how contrary is that!
