Good news, good news. Don't know if I've blogged about this before (& haven't got time to look this morning). We have heard from the insurance company about our claim for a new laptop & iPod for Lisa & the items are being ordered as we speak. A week or so ago it was so hot that we were all sleeping with the upstairs windows open. Lisa's bedroom has a bay window with 2 large windows that tilt inwards on either side & a small window at the front that opens outward. Most countries are geared up with air conditioning for bouts of hot weather except here in the UK. We just have all the windows open, lay on the top of the bed, & moan about how little sleep we got to anyone who will listen lol. Unfortunately it rained in the middle of the night. It must have rained pretty hard because the water came in & flooded Lisa's desk which is built into the bay. It ruined the laptop but luckily Lisa just managed to save a scrapbook she was making for some friends at Uni. It made the carpet smell awful but as we were just about to replace it anyway, we didn't mind. EDITED TO SAY: Liam has passed his Uni exams ~ well done!!
