Reach for the IOW Festival

Reach: To stretch out in order to feel or touch something. Bit of a cheat with the HS:MS photo today. Andrew & Elena are just standing there but I would love to reach into that photo and drink one of those Pina Colada Daiquiri's ~ Mmmmmm :D

Today is the start of the famous Isle of Wight Festival. The line up is amazing, from the Police to KT Tunstal, from the Sex Pistols to Scouting for Girls (Elena's favourite band at the minute) & from the Kazier Chiefs to Amy McDonald and every group/band you can think of in between.
What does it mean to us locals? We can't move about the Island as easily as we would like & that's it. Everyone moans & groans about it but it helps the Island no end. The income the festival generates must outway all the inconveniences it causes. So I say to all you old biddies, stop moaning, listen to the music & relive some of your youth!! Heavens above, you may even enjoy yourself!!!

If you're wondering how we are getting on with our new super duper memory foam bed, OMG we're not! It's like sleeping on a brick lol. Andrew & I wake up in the mornings with aching backs, hips & shoulders. I have a cunning plan though. I know it's spending more money but it's either that or we won't survive another night :( Good old Argos have a memory foam topper that we are going to put on top of the matress to see if the bed will become more comfy?

EDIT: Oooo yes it's much more comfortable, we'll see if we can get some sleep tonight :O)
