High School & Driving Lessons

Another very quick post tonight as it's getting late & I need a cup of tea LOL. Elena had another brilliant day at High School today. They had an alternative sports day with games like sand castle building, tug of war, welli throwing & the three legged race. She has made two new friends Toby & Kayleigh and just can't wait to go back in September. I'm so pleased for her. We went to the High School tonight for a meeting which was quite informative, we met her new form tutor, Mr Mills, who seems lovely. We know most of what's going on as it hasn't really changed from when Gemma & Lisa went :O) Elena is so enthusiastic about trying the out of school activities, I don't know how she's going to fit them all in. She wants to do the charity work, they raise money by having cake sales, organising discos etc. She wants to join the trampolining club & have a go at archery. She wants to learn how to play the guitar & may sign up for the drama club too!!

Lisa has had her first driving lesson this morning with Sandy next door. Sandy taught Gemma too. It's ended up being a free lesson as Sandy needs a baby sitter for Jake & Holly on Tuesday evening :O)

Lisa's been back to the doctors this week to get the results from her blood test and, now she has stopped taking the pill, her blood pressure has returned to normal. So she has a clean bill of health. Liam is feeling much better now too so all's well tonight.

Last but not least, poor Andy Murray has been knocked out of the quarter finals at Wimbledon. I was hoping and praying he would win ~ oh well, there's always next year :O)
