I think we should do the lottery tomorrow. We have been so lucky this week I can't believe it. I suppose we have bought most of it on ourselves but still, I feel lucky :O)
1. Got a free £10 Boots gift voucher from Pigsback
2. Got 2 free cinema tickets from the sweets promotion
3. Avril gave Andrew a homegrown cucumber & £20 for feeding the cats lol
4. The school gave me back £10 as they think I paid too much for Elena's trip
5. Kerri gave me 4 x £10 off a £30 spend at Tesco
6. Tuborg let me print £32 of MOC's instead of the usual limit of 2

Today I was supposed to do lots of housework but instead I concentrated on the Horrocks Hunter blog. I really hope my cousin Chris likes what I've done. I'm sure she will, she is so lovely & kind & thoughtful :O) I did manage to do the washing, change the bed, hoover downstairs etc. but I had hoped to do a lot more. Under the heading of 'life's too short' I thought the housework would still be there waiting patiently for me next week.
Lisa's had a lucky day today too. She received her letter outlining the money she will be entitled to in September for Uni. It's a little bit more than last year but her school fees have gone up so she's no better off but no worse off either. She has been trying so hard to get a job, filling in mountains of application forms & sending her CV to everyone. Today the manager from the Spar shop in Sandown rang her & asked if she would like an interview on Sunday morning. Of course she jumped at the chance, so watch this space. She is so eager to do her driving whilst she is home this summer that a job will make it all possible.
