It's our 23rd wedding anniversary on the last day of June ~ wow!! When we first got married it seemed we would be together forever and that was a very long time. Now forever doesn't seem long enough. I love you sweetie, with all my heart xXx

Gone Snorkelling

Red Nose Day ~ 16th March

I won't be here for Red Nose Day, I hope they raise lots of money. We've bought a red nose & sent away for the ears from Walkers crisps. I took some photos of Elena posing ~ I think she looks really funny *lol*.

Maximum Comfort

Me & Max, my little godson, at the Dairyman's Daughter, Arreton last Sunday evening. We all went out for a meal the night after the party and had a great time talking & laughing. Max was a little sweetheart as usual.

And All That Jazz

The journalling reads ... These are Lisa's Jazz shoes, they have been Madame Thenardier in Les Mis, Kenny Crusoe in the Robinson Crusoe pantomime, the Ice Queen in the Global Rock Challenge, Rizzo in Grease to name but a few. Lisa is hanging up her Jazz shoes on the IOW to go to Rohampton Uni in September. She has passed them down to Elena her little sister. Elena is following in Lisa's footsteps and loving it. Her first show is Jesse James on Sunday and guess what ~ she is wearing these Jazz shoes.

What I Do For FUN

I think I'm going through a designer / minimalist phase *lol*
I took this photo of myself in the hall mirror today. Didn't know what to do with it until I found an amzing LO on the artstic musings blog ~ it's a blog that inspires me ~ I love it.
Another first, I have created 4 LO's today - FOUR! flippin' heck, no wonder my shoulder's killing me *lol*

This is my take on the pencil lines sketch 20. It really is my favourite programme at the moment. It makes me laugh so much and the 3 lads are like 'Last of the Summer Wine' race track edition *lol*

Not the News

It's not nice, it's not pretty & I don't like watching the news.

Sometimes monumental stuff happens, and I tune in, but mostly I catch the news on the radio as I breeze past but never just sit and watch the news, it's just not that interesting or entertaining to me ... know what I mean?
I figure I really don't need to share in the unhappiness & stress of the world on a daily, even hourly basis. Life is so busy that I need to use my spare time wisely.

So I scrap, I blog, I listen to music constantly, I have no problem entertaining myself ... and the news? I just don't miss it at bit!
