Andrew's lack of Stockings

I was asking Andrew this morning (we've been together for 27 years) if he had a stocking when he was a child. If I've asked him before I couldn't remember. He said NO, they never had stockings!! They used to leave Santa his drink & mince pie etc. and then Santa would leave ALL their presents on the bottom of their bed. Nothing under the tree!! They would get up, take all their presents downstairs and open them. I think I may journal some of my hubby's memories etc. instead next year, it's something I never do. I scrapbook recent events but never really delve into his past. I'm sure the girls would love to read about their Dad in years to come as well :O)
