The first time we went to Jamaica (February 2004) we visited 'Rose Hall'. It was the 'Great House' belonging to the sugar plantation on which the Wyndham Rose Hall Hotel is built. The house looks very boring but inside it is amazing and the spooky history about the White Witch was fantastic. Andrew bought the book 'The White Witch of Rose Hall' from the hotel shop and thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The House itself was like a step back in time and you could actually imagine the slaves working outside {{shudder}}.

Rose Hall Sugar Plantation
