W is for Wednesday, Warm Weather, Star Wars & Walking

So why, if the sun is shining and it's lovely and warm, is Elena sat in the front room playing Star Wars on her PS2??? One of lifes mysteries I'm afraid. I think we are so programmed to living in doors in this country that it just becomes a habit. I've no room to talk, I'm sat here writing this when it says 23oC on the thermometer.
I did venture outside when I got home from work and take some photos of the flowers in the garden. I noticed the little orange calendular when I hung the washing out at 8:30 this morning. There it was, all on it's one, smiling up at me as I was hurrying around doing some jobs before work. I wouldn't say the garden is full of colour but there are lots of small patches of colour that you really have to get up close to to appreciate.
Been to Morrisons to get bread etc. & forgot Shampoo!! Took Lisa, Liam & 3 of their friends to Wetherspoons in Ryde as they are having an evening out. Gemma & I called at Tesco on the way home for - you guessed it - Shampoo!! Gemma has been telling me that she got the 'Entertainments' job at Woolies. Meaning that she will be working on the entertainments counter rather than being an entertainer *lol*. This will mean more hours for her and of course more money!! We were on our way back home from Tesco and had to stop at the red light on the railway bridge as you enter Sandown and we spotted a little fawn coloured rabbit poking out of the greenery on the banking. I didn't have my camera though. Why does that happen? I thought I wouldn't need it just going to Ryde & back. Note to self: buy a bigger handbag & take the camera everywhere!!!
Just visited Fruitysuets blog & she is down to the final 3 in the MMidol ~ how cool is that. This is the magnificent LO she created. I really do hope she wins.

Fajhitas for tea, it was so lovely outside, even at 7:45 that Andrew & I decided to go for a walk. Just a short one down Winchester steps, along the sea front and back up Lake slip way. The sun was just setting so I took the opportunity of using my new found 'night mode' on the camera. The tree looked so perfect in Lake Cliff Gardens with the red sky behind it I just couldn't resist. Shanklin looked so pretty from the cliff path, can't believe how purple this photo is ~ I love it :O)
The sea was like a Mill Pond, so calm. The horizon melted with the sky, you could hardly see where one ended and the other began.
As we walked up the slip way to come back home we could see the reflection of all the street lights in the sea. I tried to take a photo (well quite a few) but couldn't keep the camera still enough, Andrew had a go too but still couldn't do it. This one is the best of the bunch. It's a shame it hasn't captured what we could see as it was truly awesome.
We walked along the cliff path in the dark, barely able to see what was infront of us when we spotted something (at first we thought it was dog poop *lol*) then it moved!!! It was a frog, or was it a toad? no it must be a frog, oh I don't know. If you do, answers on a postcard please :O)
