It's Raining Again!!

Just look at my garden, it's all damp & bedraggled!!I'm not sure if it's raining sea water or not but there's a definite smell of seaweed in the air. Well either that or I've got something salty under my nose {lol} Can't do anything outside again today, not even dry my washing so I thought I would phone my best friend Teresa who lives in Nottingham. She is moving soon and has her hands full with 4 children, one of them, Max, is only a year old! She's also lost the sight in one eye through a brain tumour! Does she moan, does it stop her from doing anything, hell no. She is the most lovable, upbeat person I know, she's an absolute star & I love her to pieces. So I've just phoned her and I get this message 'this phone does not receive incoming calls'!! So I've text her to make sure everyone's OK :O) I've had a text from Nicky (one of my colleagues at work) to say she is OK. Her baby is due today but there are no signs of him yet!! I've also had another text (goodness me, am I miss popular today or what) from Tricia (my friend in Shanklin) to say her husbands in hospital with an infected toe and is on a drip. Her Father in law is in hospital after an operation on his stomach and Joanne their daughter has just had a miscarriage. It's all very sad but this is about as upbeat as Tricia gets {rolleyes}. I hope this doesn't make me a bad friend. It's just that everyone has there problems & you don't mind listening to other peoples as long as it isn't constantly. When I've been to see her I feel depressed!! I'll let her off today though as it does sound as if she's genuinely going through a rough patch.
On a lighter note, one of the loves of my life has just got home from school shouting ~ "honey, I'm home." God she just cracks me up!! Bless her heart. We've just had the biggest cuddle on the settee so I'm feeling all warm inside. Elena's made us a cuppa whilst I've made beans on toast. Guess what else she's made me :O) Look ... Isn't she a darlin' :O)
