A Passion for Pirates :O)

Today, is the day we've been looking forward to, since the end of the last Pirates of the Caribbean. Yep, the third film in the trilogy is out and, although we aren't going to see it until Saturday night, I'm still really excited :O) I'm all organised, I sent away for 12 Cineworld tickets from Gemma's discount booklet (20% off!!!) and they arrived last week. We chose Saturday because it's Matt's birthday and Claire & Chris will be here :O) To be honest I can't go today or tomorrow because Kerri is on holiday so I'm doing double shifts ~ 9-1pm then 5-8pm, both days. Done the her space my space word for today and posted a photo over on my other blog. Walked around the garden in the brilliant sunshine and low & behold we have a Passion Flower out. It's had masses of buds ready to open and everyday I've faithfully looked for a bloom. OMG it's been well worth the wait I can tell you !! Andrew spotted the first Lilly in the front garden last night, I adore Lillies :O) This little straggler belongs to the Passion Flower plant and has come up the wrong side of the fence :O) I've taken a bit of a rubbish photo of our Cordyline but thought it would speak volumes. The plant & the flower is nothing much to look at, maybe a bit tropical but that's it (hence the photo), BUT the perfume, OMG it's intoxicating. It smells like Jasmin and is really strong & heady. It's so powerful, if Lisa has her bedroom window open, it fills her room with scent. I wish you could smell it's gorgeous :O) This is one of those knot holes in the gate. It's made from a wooded fence panel and the knot dropped out when we were painting it. It's only as big as a 50pence piece but what a view ~ lol! These two are of the plum tree & apple tree. Last but not least are my two 3191 type photos ... a ball on the lid of the pool which must belong to the people next door? And the sawdust Monkey the hamster has pushed out of his home :O)

We are waiting for the Pirates movie today as well... funny that it opened at the same time in both countries!
You really should be taking pictures for a living... these are gorgeous!

We grow passion flowers too. They are so fascinating and I just love how they seem like they are from some other planet, an alien plant form. Fabulous photos!
