Funny Old Day

Well, what can I tell you? It's been a funny old day so far, unless it's just the way I'm feeling? Been and done my shift at work this morning. The dishwasher is loaded and has been switched on, the washing machine too and all the clothes on the airer have been folded neatly and put into piles for Lisa, Andrew, ironing etc. Done the HSMS word for to day ~ spoon. Lisa was in when I got home but she's left now. She's got her Geography exam this afternoon, poor thing. I hope it all goes well for her, fingers crossed. She's off out tonight to Lizzies 18th birthday party. They are going to the party by stretch limo which is picking them up at the end of the road. I have to go back to work at 5pm so Andrew's had intructions to follow them with the camera :O) Liam's home tonight for 4 months so Lisa is pleased about that. Still haven't seen Gemma or Matt so they must be OK. Elena finishes school today for a week. She loves school holidays especially this one as there is so much going on starting with her cousins coming to stay. Claire & Chris are on the 11pm boat, I'm not a very good stayer upper, I am worried that if I stay up past midnight I may end up turning into a pumpkin ~ lol! The beds will be ready for them so they can crash out when they want to. Been out in the garden with me camera again :O) We've only got a small garden but I'm always amazed how much is in it ...Bit of an update :O) Claire & Chris phoned, they missed the 9 o'clock boat by 5 minutes! The problem is the next sailing isn't until 11pm! So near & yet so far! Lisa & Liam had a change of plan. They are getting picked up from Lizzies house in Shanklin instead, so hopefully there will be more photo opportunities :O) Still no word from Gemma & Matt. I find this is the hardest bit about letting go of your children. I don't want to be one of those over bearing mothers who demand communication all the time but it's still hard letting them do their own thing :O) Edited with photos :O)
