June meet Ivy!

OMG it's June today!! Is it me or is this year flying past? It's only just dawned on me that Elena is off to France in 10 days!! TEN DAYS ~ OMG!! So we have 2 weekends to go shopping or so I thought. Next weekend is the Isle of Wight Festival and going to Newport is a big no, no! So Newport tomorrow then :O) We've made a list of the things we need, new school trousers & skirt, new black 'disco' shoes, a white vest top and some beads to go with the black & white top we bought a couple of weeks ago.

Today we've been to Tesco, put the shopping away, stripped the beds, washed and hung said washing out, etc. etc. So this afternoon we've given the Ivy a haircut. It grows against the fence that runs down the side of the house. It has grown so much just lately that you get wet just walking underneath it ~ lol! Andrew swept the paths whilst I collected the leaves etc. Elena took some photos of us :O) I left Andrew in the garden when I went to work at 5pm.

Gren phoned yesterday and asked if we would all like to go to the 'Fighting Cocks' in Arreton for a meal. It's Trish & John's 30th wedding anniversary and they want to surprise them :O) We were invited to Janet & Gren's BBQ on Tuesday evening but we were in London so had to turn the offer down. It will be good to catch up with everyone at the Pub as we haven't seen them all since Christmas :O)

Well I've signed up for the "Shhh, It's a Secret" challenge. This week we have to make a LO of all the things we are grateful for. We have a week to complete it so I'm going to have a go. Wish me luck :O)
