It's Bee(n) a Hive of Activity

Been a busy bee today :O) Ironing done, bed changed etc. etc. I'm feeling in a spring cleaning mood which is a bit worrying seen as it's September??!! It may have something to do with trying to help Lisa get organised for her move to University? OMG there is so much to do. We have to get a TV licence for her ~ £135.50! That's beside the one we have to have at home, scandalous it is, piggin' scandalous!! We have to sort out some kind of insurance so if any of her belongings are damaged or stolen we are covered. We're trying to make a list of all the stuff she'll need. I don't know if it's me, but it seems endless. We have to mark all her belongings with a security pen for obvious reasons. She's made a menu plan so at least she'll know what shopping she needs to get. I think I'm worrying too much ... last night I woke up wondering what she's going to do with a bag of frozen sweetcorn once it's been opened ~ ROFL. Today I'm worrying what Liam will sleep on when he goes and stays with her at the weekends :O) I think I need to chill out a bit don't you ~ lol!

Elena had an OK sort of day at school. She wasn't that thrilled when she came home but nothing had upset her so that's OK. I went to Woollies this afternoon and bought her a DS LITE for Christmas shhh! We got 20% off because it's double discount week for people who work there and their Mum's ~ thank you Gem X

It's been really hot and sunny today ~ bonus! You never know what to wear, one day you're freezing the next you're boiling {rolleyes}! Well there have been some other busy bees here today too, buzzing around the garden :O)

Honestly, I think those are the best bee pics I've seen. So close and so much detail, just brilliant.

Uni is such a huge step isn't it. Not only leaving home, but all the work, and then being totally responsible for all your own laundry and cooking. I never even thought about the shopping. So much to think about, bless her. At least you know she has somewhere clean and safe to live, one worry less.

I feel for you though, I know all about those worries. I must have gone through things hundreds of times with David, and he didn't even have to cook or shop, (thank goodness because he's hopeless lol!) but he still did it his own way and survived.

How is David you ask. Well... long story. David is home! The more he found out about his trade the more he decided it wasn't for him, so he left which you can do in training no probs. He can re-apply for a different trade in 6 months if he wants but has been researching the army and would like a more technical trade.

Last week he came home, got a full time job a couple of days later and today begins the first step of the army selection process. Phew, a whirlwind of a time here. Good to have him home of course but hard for him to adjust, he loves military life and the routine it brings. Still he has a job and his days are full with work and boxing training again, he is happy. We are thankful that he made the decision now instead of leaving it too late and not being able to come out straight away.

So it looks like I will have one in the army and one in the RAF, who would ever have thought it would go that way, not me!

David could never have gone to Uni anyway, he doesn't cook unlike Sarah, would only shop for pizza's and microwave meals unlike Sarah, and I would worry myself silly. Sarah on the other hand would LOVE to be totally independent, I wouldn't even worry about her too much, I'd just miss her.

So I know you will miss your sweet girl but she will stay in touch and you will be as proud as punch that she is doing so well.

Sorry for such a long post, are you still with me? Lol!
