Isle of Wight Festival

There are many advantages living on the Isle of Wight, a slow pace of life, beautiful beaches, cracking country walks & music festivals. This weekend sees the Isle of Wight Festival in Newport with acts like Sir Paul McCartney, Pink, Spandau Ballet, Florence & the Machine & Elena's favourite, Calvin Harris, to name but a few. Elena went, apprehensively after school yesterday, armed with her non camping wrist band, bottles of drinking water & wellies. She came home buzzing! It was so lovely to know that she was having such a good time. She was going back today to watch numerous other bands like La Roux & Noah & The Whale.

Lisa & Liam are coming home today as Uni is officially over. Back to reality. Sucks doesn't it.

Working all day tomorrow too but the new season of Trueblood starts on Monday so that's something to look forward to.
