The story of the sprouts :O)

Andrew cooks a beautiful roast dinner at the weekend. We all sit round the table, Me, Andrew, Gemma, Matt, Lisa, Liam & Elena and tuck in, talking all the time and laughing and joking, it's great. We always have sprouts because it is my favourite vegetable but Lisa, bless her, hates them.
Sometimes Andrew dishes up the dinner on to plates and sometimes he puts it in dishes so everyone can help themselves. If he puts the dinner on plates he always (for as long as we can remember) hides one or two sprouts in Lisa's food. Sometimes they are under her mashed potatoes or meat etc. She always hunts them out and gives them to me. (We would never make her eat them because she doesn't like them). It's just a bit of fun and has turned into a bit of a tradition. Anyway, last Christmas Andrew came home with a little box of 4 Ferrero Rocher chocolates. He opened the box carefully and dismantled one of the chocolates. He melted some chocolate and covered a raw Brussel Spout in it and left it in the fridge to set. He carefully wrapped the chocolate covered sprout in the wrapper and put it back in the box. It was one of Lisa's stocking fillers. Christmas day & Boxing day went by - nothing, the 27th December - nothing then the next evening Lisa came down stairs laughing so much she had tears in her eyes and was unable to speak for a good 5 minutes. She had bitten into the chocolate and found her sprout. It was hilarious, we all laughed about it for days. Dad's hey!!
