Calabash Tree

We went on a rafting trip whilst on holiday in Jamaica. We were taken to Trelawney which was about half an hour away from our hotel by air conditioned bus. When we got there we were given a welcome drink and then boarded our raft. The captain, Winston, was very polite and told us lots of things about the rain forest as we glided down the river. It was the most amazing thing I have ever done. He explained how he gathered the seeds from the calabash tree and spent his days carving them. We loved them so much we all bought one. It is amazing how tallented & artistic the Jamaican's are.
