Playing With My Camera

I've been playing with the settings on my camera over the last couple of days, in preparation for our forthcoming holiday (only 8 sleeps to go).

I've found the burst mode, which I think will come in handy for the roller coaster rides and other things that move. Yesterday I mastered blurring the background whilst keeping an object in the foreground sharp. I also spent a lot of time reading about what makes a good photo. So here are my efforts. Not the most spectacular subjects in the world but I was pleased with the results :O)
