V-room

Wednesday morning we left the Premier in at Gatwick South and made our way to the Virgin room. We were given complimentary tickets when we booked the holiday back in April last year. The lounge was fab & I would definitely pay to use it next time. There was a delicious complimentary breakfast buffet & comfortable seats away from all the children, so it was an absolute pleasure to be there.

The flight was long but the service was as good as it always is with Virgin. Managed to watch 3 films, The A Team, Letters To Juliette & Toy Story 3. We flew across the Atlantic to Canada & then down the Eastern Seaboard over Maine, Massachusetts, Virginia, North & South Carolina, Georgia & of course Florida. We were entertained by Henry & Libby, 2 three year old twins who sat in front of us and were lots of fun. Lots of free drinks, food & snacks later we landed at Orlando's International airport.

We picked up the car, a Hyundi Sonatan, from 'Budget' and drove to the Quality Inn on I-Drive. It was quite difficult to drive on the roads but Andrew did a great job. We found Walmart using the Sat Nav & stocked up on Lucky Charms & Fruit Loops. Had a Subway for tea, while we were there & then went back to the hotel to hit the sack. We were cream crackered!
