House

Ooooo I've been waiting for this day for ages and ages. The brand new episode of House, Painless, aired last night across the pond on Fox 8/9 central. So after work and filling & switching on the washing machine & dishwasher, I booted up the lap top and sat back and indulged myself. Was it worth waiting 5 weeks for? You bet ya ~ it's the best program on the TV interweb :O)

Last night I spoke to Lisa on the phone for over an hour. Poor thing had had a REALLY bad day so I tried my hardest to cheer her up. I must have done something right because not long after she put the phone down, I received a lovely e-card with this message ... Thank you for making me feel better and always being there for me!!!! I love you! Your the best! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
How gorgeous is that :O)

Talking of last night ...

This is No. 9 of my 365 photos
Andrew fixed the washing machine last night by fitting some new shock absorbers. I love him more everyday, which is saying something, because I've known him for nearly 10600 days!

Gemma's been to see Elena & I this afternoon. We're going to Newport tomorrow when Elena gets in from school as Gem wants some shoes to go with the outfit she's wearing on Thursday. She's doing some voluntary work for Age Concern in their events department. I hope she enjoys herself.

Don't Panic Duck!!!

Do you want the good or the bad news from work today? The good news is, that Lauren has got engaged to the man of her dreams, Jay. I hope they will be really happy together :O) This is her engagement ring, unusual isn't it. The bad news is, Paul STILL hasn't done anything about updating our bookings system and I am getting really worried now. Never mind, Teresa bought me some extra buttons for my keyboard at work, which have been stuck in place this morning, I'm sure they will come in very handy, lol. Last night after tea, Andrew, although he felt cream crackered, continued working in the utility room. He took out the double cupboard on the left hand side, finished plumbing in the washing machine & dishwasher and plastered over the wall where he'd moved the plugs etc. It's getting there now and should be ready for the new mighty fridge freezer that's due to be delivered sometime next week. Here's the second photo of my 365 project ...

No. 2Andrew thought I'd lost the plot when I bought Elena these ducks for the bath at Christmas but I knew she'd love them ~ and she did (cos she's quackers) :O)

One headline that caught my eye in the news today was this...

Almost the entire 1911 census goes online for public access on Tuesday. Organisers hope to avoid a repeat of the deluge that shut the 1901 census website last time.

The answers to thousands of questions lurk within the two kilometres of shelving space taken up by the 1911 census documents at the National Archives in London.

Among the eight million returns are family secrets that have lain undiscovered for generations and pages inhabited by the previously unknown relatives of those alive today.

I hadn't realised the 1911 census was due out so soon. I presumed it would be out on the 1 Jan 2012 as the 1901 was online 1 Jan 2002. I've downloaded a couple of pages of my family which is really exciting. It was the first time people filled out the census returns themselves so it's great to see their handwriting :O)

Andrew's not very happy today, his beloved Stargate Atlantis is coming to an end. Tonight they are showing the last ever episode and he's gutted. Me, I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment of House. It's being aired in the USA on Monday 19th Jan ~ roll on!

Italian Fish & Houses

What's up with me? Andrew's running around doing 3 jobs at once & I've barely the energy to climb into bed at night? Maybe I should take Andrew's advice and 'do something'. Can I blame the weather? The time of year? Or is it just procrastination? I have a tonne of housework to do and keep thinking that I will tackle it a room at a time, but by the time I've finished I have to start at the beginning again. Why can't housework be done once a week and leave it at that? I have 3 outstanding jobs as well, a smear test, an eye test & my hair needs cutting. Instead of blogging about it I should just ring up and make the relevant appointments but something inside me doesn't want to. Why is that? I can understand not wanting a smear test ~ who does! I NEED new glasses, I can't see a flippin thing at the moment. Teresa lent me some books to read & the writing is so small I have no chance reading them so clearly something needs to be done. I am a Pisces so could it be something to do with that? Two fish swimming in opposite directions, one saying do this, the other saying no don't. If I believed in such stuff I could convince myself that this is the problem. Where's House when I need him?

Ooo talking of House, just watched the new episode :O) It was another good one! I was a bit confused though because the other day, when I went on the website, it said the new episode would be called 'Let them eat cake'. It wasn't at all, it was Emancipation! (Every time I here that word it makes me think of Bob Marley ~ Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery.) OMG I know what's up with me, I'm having Jamaican withdrawal symptoms PMSL! I digress, House was as brilliant as ever :O)

HSMSHS word today ~ Italian! All I'm going to say is this is as Italian as we get in this house ~ dried pasta lol. Just been outside and the sun is out! The thermometer is reading 15o ... and the skies are pure blue ...I'm off now to get me boots full lol ~ byeee!

I'm back :O) with my boots well and truly full of gorgeous weather & sunshine ...

Does Size Matter?

What a productive weekend. Andrew's changed the radiator in our bedroom because the old one had started to leak. The new one is a different size as they don't make the old sizes anymore so he had to take up the floor boards, turn pipes round and re plumb the new radiator. He's wired in a new light in both ours & Lisa's bedroom, sorted out the paintwork round our window & undercoated all the architraves etc. It looks fab. He is SO clever but then he did spend 5 years at college learning carpentry and if that wasn't enough, he's got qualifications in electrics & plumbing too. You could say he's a very Handy Andy lol.

Now you'd think that decorating our bedroom would be enough for one person to do (as well as work 40 hours a week in a demanding job). But Andrew doesn't think so, he's changing the kitchen cupboard doors too. Again, all the sizes are different now. When did it happen? Who knicked all the old sizes? The ones he's taken off have only been up 15 years! Anyway, the doors have to be altered, every single one. At the moment we've got a selection of styles which I think is quite funky :O) Everything in our house is slowly turning white. I've left it up to Andrew so I think he's de personalising the house. The House Doctor says to depersonalise your house if you want to sell it so I think it's him being very sneaky. One day I'll wake up and we'll have moved lol. Nice try Mr H!

Me, I spent most of Sunday ferrying Elena to & from Ryde. Cleaned the conservatory and sorted out the plants. Washed the net curtains and cleaned all the windows inside.

We slept on the front room floor last night. Well not literally, we dragged the mattress out of our bedroom & slept on that. It's weird how everything 'sounds' different in the lounge and how new noises wake you up. The train, cars, dustbin men, people walking past the house. We'll just get used to it when we move back upstairs :O)

HSMSHS word today is button so here's a photo from my button box :O) A sneaky peek at the next episode of House ~ Let Them Eat Cake :O)

The Game's Afoot

We have had to wait two whole weeks for the next episode of House & it's nearly killed me lol. Every day for the past 14 days I've got up, showered, got dressed & either gone to work or done something constructive. This morning has been pure indulgence. Stayed in bed till 10am (how lazy is that), put my dressing gown & slippers on. Booted up the laptop, made a cup of tea & sat & watched the next installment of House. It was worth waiting for. What a brilliant episode! I am so pleased they carried the story line on of House & Cuddy. I wonder if they'll ever get together? It was great to see a lot more of Cameron & Chase & it's so good to have Wilson back. What more could you want from your favourite TV show :O) Yesterday after work Elena & I went back to Matalan to see if we could find a plain T-shirt for drama. She's doing a show called Rock Nativity in a few weeks time hence all the rehearsals. It's harder than you think trying to find a top with no frills or extra colours but we managed. I bought 4 T-shirts in different colours for me at £3 each, (they'll do for work) when Elena spotted a drinks bottle for school. It's very snazzy with an inner core that you freeze so it keeps your drink cool all day. She was happy.

This afternoon I've been making Elena a Christmas hamper full of bath stuff. Wrapped most of the presents that I hadn't got round to last week, so I think I'm up to date now. I can't believe how organised I am this year lol. I'm sure the name Santa Claus lost something in translation, I swear it should be Mother Christmas :O)

Today's word over at HSMSHS was Game so here's my photo. It's Elena's favourite game on the DS at the moment. Now, I think Andrew thinks it's his birthday because, don't faint, I've cooked the tea :S Lasagne with garlic tear & share bread & salad leaves (Elena did the salad). Not only that, Andrew ate the lot. Cleaned his plate he did (in the past he's refused to even eat my cooking lol). Is this a sign of things to come??? Nah!

My favourite music today
Girls Aloud - The Promise
Josh Groban - To Where You Are (I've loved this song since the first time I heard it on Ally McBeal years ago) I've asked Father Christmas for his new album ~ Awake :O)
The Script - The Man Who Can't Be Moved (Elena's favourite song too)

Photos I've pinched from Lisa's facebook :O)
Liam & Tillett ...Lisa & Liam at Thorpe Park ... Lisa & Skateboard Steve ...

A Bit of Fry & Laurie

The word today is Fry. Now I've said a million times before, I don't do cooking. I leave that to the experts (Andrew, Teresa & Lisa). So when I logged on to HSMSHS this morning and found today's word I knew I had to think out of the box and, well, basically cheat yet again. The first Fry that came to mind was a Fry's Turkish Delight (Mmmmm chocolate - said in a Homer Simpson voice lol). That meant a trip down to the shops to buy one so I didn't bother. The second Fry I thought of was the fantastic Mr Steven Fry. So here he is as my 'Fry' photo today. Which leads me on to talk about the other half of Fry ~ House aka Hugh Laurie. I had a sneaky suspicion that the next installment of House would be cancelled due to the American presidential elections so when I logged on to sidereel this morning I wasn't surprised the link wasn't there. (I'll just have to watch last weeks episode again to get my 'fix'.) I have no idea about politics, even less about American politics, but I was pleased when I found out that Barack Obama had been elected. I love 'firsts' & Mr Obama is the first black American president ~ cool! Thought I would catch up with the photos I missed over the last few days :O) So here's yesterday's Shimmer taken at Hardwick Hall last week. (Can you see the sun shimmering through the leaves?)Saturday's 'collection' (which should have been a photo of something I collect but the light is so poor today a photo just isn't possible). These Russian dolls were in a shop window in Pavillion Gardens, Buxton. Last but not least, on Sunday SuzieB asked us for a photo of ourselves when we were young so here's mine :O) It was taken just after I had won an award in the brass band I played in. I think I must have been 15/16 ~ many moons ago lol. George (the one in the glasses) was my tutor.

New Episode of House

OH MY GOD!!! Can House GET any better? I loved it!! Now I've got to wait another 7 days the next episode ~ not sure I can cope lol. Never mind it's only another 5 days until Season 4 comes out on DVD :O)) It will be nice to watch it on the TV rather than a little screen on the laptop.

Today's word at HSMSHS is 'Moist' so here's mine :O) Gemma came round to see us last night & stayed for tea. She showed me some photos of her new flat, bless her she is so excited. She can move in on the Monday we come home from our visit to the frozen North ;O) Andrew watched the new episode of Stargate Atlantis & then Gemma & I watched the last programme of Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food. Phoned Lisa to see if she was OK and then sat and wrapped Christmas Presents. What is it about presents, I always think they look so much better when they are wrapped. Maybe it comes from childhood excitement or maybe just the mystery of wondering what's inside? Who knows, I just hope, the people they have been bought for, like them :O)

Elena had her school photo taken the other day & has fetched it home for us to look at. She doesn't like it but I think it's lovely. Mum & Dad always buy one for their 'wall'. We've never bought one for years. I'm always shocked at the price & I know Mum & Dad have one so I only have to go round to their house to see them.

Andrew's back on the mainland tomorrow. Has to visit East Hempstead for some work conferency thing. (I think it's near Windsor somewhere). He works so hard & I love him for it. I know we've been married for a life time & I know he'll be back in the evening but I will miss him, I always do. We don't run into each others arms or anything like that when he comes home & we don't sit all night talking to each other either. It's just enough to know we're both under the same roof safe & sound. That sounds really soppy doesn't it, lol.

Musical Memories & Magical MP3's

Ooooo just watched House {{grin}} It was FANTASTIC, I am so addicted. Bit of a shame the PI guy wasn't in this one as I really like him but hey, there's always next week :O) I was so pleased that Wilson's back & it was great to see a bit more of the old team too.

Today's HSMSHS word is stripes. The light here this morning is pants, it's raining that very fine rain that doesn't look much but wets you through so everwhere's really dark. I had to put the kitchen light on just to make a cuppa. Anyway, here's some very wet stripes.Memory for today: It's not a very strong memory, I can just remember bits & pieces. I heard Dean Friedman singing 'Thank Your Lucky Starts' on the radio last night & it made me remember the night when Andrew & I went to see him at the theatre in Ryde. (I know the girls were little & I'm sure it was before Elena was even thought of lol.) It was a fab evening & he was a genuinely lovely man. We got to meet his family who had gone on tour with him, so it was quite a small affair, nothing on the scale of mainland concerts lol. He sang lots of new songs as well as the stuff we remembered from the 70's Lucky Stars, Lydia & Ariel. I remember him singing Ariel to a friends daughter, he got her up on the stage, sat her on a stool and sang it to her. Her Mum was so pleased because she had named her Ariel after that song. I did a college course with her Mum, Alison and we tasted tomatoes together at Wight Salad. Alison died a few years later of cancer, which was really, really sad. It's amazing how many memories one song can evoke.

Talking of songs & music, have you seen my superdooper virtual iPod ---> isn't it fab :O) Elena showed me how to do it (ooo she is clever) thanks Elena ~ I LOVE it xXx I've only got 15 songs on it at the moment, not sure if I will add anymore yet??? I didn't want anything too upbeat otherwise I wouldn't be able to sit here & type, I'd be up dancing around the house like a mad woman lol. I love dancing I do hehe :O)

On another musical note, Elena's poor iPod shuffle has gone to the iPod graveyard in the sky (sound better than the dustbin). After the wizz round the washing machine yesterday it doesn't work at all now, nothing, nada, zilch! It's probably a good job she put a new iPod on the top of her list to Father Christmas this year. She asked for one that holds more songs & all her beloved episodes of Jimmy Clitheroe ~ bless her. The problem is she doesn't want just any old iPod, she wants a green one! Brilliant I thought, I have a voucher that gives you £10 off at Argos. The only problem is they don't have any green ones in stock. I think the voucher's good for a couple of weeks though so fingers crossed.

Aww ~ Just edited to say: I started reading my blog out loud to Andrew. I read "I heard Dean Friedman singing 'Thank Your Lucky Starts' on the radio last night & it made me remember ..." and before I could go any further, he said "Alison". I hadn't realised that Andrew shared the same memory. Alison left behind a son who is about Gemma's age & twin girls who are about Lisa's age. Nobody could believe it when she died so yes, I thank my lucky stars!!

Teardrop

Oh dear, this is not turning out to be the best week in the world. Nothing too catastophic has happened, just little things that are annoying or upsetting. Won't bore you with all the details.

The bus went into the garage last night for repair. Whilst we were with Teresa & Nik in August, we mentioned that the handbreak warning light was on permanently. Nik, being the wizz he is where cars are concerned, knew what it was straight away and showed Andrew that the break fluid was low (more than low actually ~ yikes). So they filled up the break fluid & everything was OK until a few days ago when I set off to go to work & the same thing happened again. Nik did say that if it did hapen again we must have a leak. So the break fluid was again topped up & an appointment was made at the garage. Goodness knows how much it's going to cost.

So I got up this morning & flung open the curtains, Wednesday (I thought), my favourite day :O) For the last few Wednesday's I've been getting up, putting my dressing gown & slippers on, making a cup of tea & booting up the computer to watch the next installment of House. Shock, horror, this morning the episode isn't there, some sort of Presidential programme was on instead on the other side of the pond!! It won't be shown until 14th now ~ grrrr!!

I'm just going to have make do with the theme tune this morning ~ Teardrop by Massive Attack. Just about sums up my mood today.

Today is the day that something special is happeneing over at HS:MS. Been over to see what the buzz is all about & they have a new website, not only that, Anita has joined forces this time with the fabulous SuziB & Andrew ~ Mr Wigan himself. I thought I would make a special effort & join in with them so here's my 'welcome' :O) It's from Elena's 'Travel' Hangman' game. Just been outside & what a glorious day. The sun is shining, beautiful blue skies & it's really warm ~ 18 degrees ~ cool! (Well hot really lol) This leaf was on the grass & just begged to be photographed. It's from the Boston Ivy that's growing along the bargeboard of the garage. Not the best photo in the world but I thought the colours were stunning :O)

Thursday Already

Goodness me it's Thursday already & I haven't blogged for 2 days. Not because I have been rushed off my feet or anything like that. Nothings been happening. Got up, went to work, went to bed blah, blah & that's it.

I have seen Gem a couple of times this week which has been lovely. Spoke to Lisa on the phone which reminds me I must phone her again to see how she went on in her lectures. Elena's still loving school and now on about joining a Break Dancing Club after school on Wednesdays!! Not sure she knows what break dancing is lol.

Watched House again yesterday, it was fab!!! AND I learned that Hugh Laurie has signed up for another 4 years ~ get in lol.

Not sure where Chris has gone :O( She hasn't replied to my e-mail but that could be because she's busy. I suppose the reason I'm a bit worried is that I sent her a parcel & I don't know whether she's received it or not.

We are still all looking forward to our visit up North :o) Can't wait to see everyone again.

This from the PTS website, made me giggle :O)

There is a factory in Northern Minnesota which makes the Tickle Me Elmo toys. The toy laughs when you tickle it under the arms.

Well, Lena is hired at The Tickle Me Elmo factory and she reports for her first day promptly at 8:00 am.

The next day at 8:45 am there is a knock at the Personnel Manager's door. The Foreman throws open the door and begins to rant about the new
employee. He complains that she is incredibly slow and the whole line is backing up, putting the entire production line behind schedule.

The Personnel Manager decides he should see this for himself, so the 2 men march down to the factory floor. When they get there the line is so backed up that there are Tickle Me Elmo's all over the factory floor and they're really beginning to pile up. At the end of the line stands Lena surrounded by mountains of Tickle Me Elmo's. She has a roll of plush Red fabric and a huge bag of small marbles.

The 2 men watch in amazement as she cuts a little piece of fabric, wraps it around two marbles and begins to carefully sew the little package between Elmo's legs.

The Personnel Manager bursts into laughter. After several minutes of hysterics he pulls himself together and approaches Lena .

'I'm sorry,' he says to her, barely able to keep a straight face, 'but I think you misunderstood the instructions I gave you yesterday...'

'Your job is to give Elmo two test tickles.

Dying Changes Everything

OMG I've just watched Episode 1 of the new series of House ~ Dying Changes Everything & I don't want Wilson to go :O( I'm sure he won't but then I was sure that Daniel wasn't dead in Stargate lol. www.sidereel.com/House

It wasn't as emotionally charged as the Season 4 finale but I still enjoyed it. It's really strange though. I don't know if the writers intended the story line of House & Wilson to be the most prominent part or whether it was me being more interested in their relationship than the actual case. I started watching House because I loved the puzzle & how each one was solved but now I care more about the characters personal lives (shock) I hope I'm not going to turn into a soap addict after all these years of boycotting stuff like Coronation Street & Eastenders!!!

Last night I received an e-mail from Lisa with photos of her room now she's sorted it all out. Loving the new Ikea shelves Lisa but OMG that's the biggest indoor TV aeriel I think I've ever seen. It looks like something out of Mork & Mindy ~ Mork calling Orson, come in Orson lol . Only kidding, as long as you can watch TV sweetie xXx

She sent me a text message the other day too ... Good morning Mum. Would you please be able to e-mail Liam your CV because he needs 2 do one for his course. Miss you lots & love you 2 the end of the universe & back send my love to Dad & Elena tb xxx ... My heart melted :O)

Found a secondhand guitar on Wightbay last night too (The islands answer to e-bay) so I'm taking Elena to look at it after school. It's only £10 and looks very similar to the one my Dad had years ago.

Bit of Everything ~ not for the faint hearted!!

OMG I am SO excited, I can hardly contain myself lol.

It's a very important day today on the Vanda calendar.

Wilson, Thirteen, Chase, Kutner, House, Foreman, Cuddy, Cameron, Taub.

Season 5 of House is being aired tonight over in America so we will be able to watch it via the tinternet sometime tomorrow ~ woo whooo!! I just can't wait :O)

I have a bit of a confession too. I went on the Internet on Sunday night to find a birthday pressie for my friend Kerri. We get on so well & have loads in common so I thought I could would push the boat out & buy her something she will love. Something she has been talking about for weeks, months even. Something I know she will get a lot of pleasure from. It arrived today in a very discreet box and when I opened it I had second thoughts. Is this the type of gift you buy your friend? Will she find it amusing or will I have crossed a line? Dare I tell you what I've bought?

Let me give you a bit of background info first. Kerri & I share the same taste in men, thoughtful, hardworking, loving but unfortunately not typical specimens. Apparently most men think about sex every few minutes but ours certainly don't lol. In fact it can go months before it even enters their heads PMSL. So Kerri & I talk about what we haven't had, all the time. Some of the conversations we have had in the past have been hilarious and very, what's the word, explicit. She is much more open with her husband about the situation than I am with Andrew, (not for the want of trying I might add) but then how can I possibly moan about a man who works hard, cooks, always comes home and looks after us all fantastically. I can't can I BUT women have needs. So with this in mind I have bought her (insert embarrassed giggle) a pink duck for the bath. Not just any pink duck, one that vibrates ROFLMAO!! OMG will she continue to be my friend after Thursday? Watch this space.

She's coming round tomorrow afternoon & then we are going with Gemma to watch The Duchess at the cinema. I'm not sure if I will like it or not but it was filmed at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire so I want to see if I can recognise any of it. We visited Chatsworth last October.

Kerri's husband is working away all week so she is all on her own. She's used to him working away but spending your birthday on your own is a bit pants so she's coming to us for tea :O) That's if she's still talking to me lol.

Changing the subject completely I am hooked at the moment on the BBC iPlayer. I'm not one of those women who sit all night watching TV (I sit infront of the computer instead lol). But I do like catching up on all the programmes I would have watched if I'd rembered they were on. This afternoon I watched the first programme in a series about the Amazon. This week I have caught up with Dawn gets a Baby, Mock the Week, Mutual Friends and after our visit to the cinema tomorrow night I will catch up with Who Do You Think You Are ~ After I've watched the new episode of House of course lol.

House Season 4

I love House. I know he's grumpy, rude, sarcastic etc. but I love him. Season 4 is just brilliant & the last episode is the best I've ever seen. I've been waiting for the new series to come out on DVD & got all excited the other day as I could have sworn I saw it advertised as being available to buy from 20 August. Well, I must have dreamt up that date as it's not being released until 27 October!! Oh well only another 9 weeks to wait *tut*

Andrew's Dream

Andrew's dream is to move somewhere warm. He's not bothered about the rain just as long as it's warm all year round :O) He's found this ... This is a rare opportunity to own a unique gem of a property in St Lucia. Previously owned by a well-known Hollywood actor, this exotic 2.4-acre property boasts three luxurious villas tucked away in a secluded cove with warm, emerald waters lapping gently onto the palm-fringed Caribbean shore - truly such stuff as dreams are made on.

Main House: The main house sits off to the south-western side of the cove, on a raised incline that overlooks the beach and pool area with its wooden deck and thatched, bamboo tiki bar. A balcony runs along the full width of the house and this is the place to relax with a chilly sundowner in hand while enjoying the daily pyrotechnics of the Caribbean sunset. The main house is set on two levels and is luxuriously appointed, with modern appliances and fittings throughout. The ground floor features a guest bedroom with dressing room and ensuite bathroom, a large kitchen with adjoining utility room, study area and lounge. The large balcony features a lounge area with comfortable seating, and also doubles as the main al-fresco dining area. The spacious, air-conditioned master suite occupies the upper floor and is a privately set eyrie with walk-in closet space, an ensuite bathroom and a secluded balcony that is visible only from above.

Pool House: The pool house also occupies two levels, and sits behind the swimming pool, directly facing the sea. The lower floor comprises a large self-contained suite with bathroom, kitchenette and a patio that adjoins the pool. Upstairs are two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, each with its own balcony overlooking the pool and with full-on views of the Caribbean sea.

Hill Cottage: This cottage sits further back (inland) on the property, nestled amongst coconut palms. The cottage is a self-contained unit comprising a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and kitchenette.

Location: The property boasts well-maintained grounds that are lush and have an abundance of tropical shrubs and flowers such as hibiscus, bougainvillea, ginger-lily and bird-of-paradise. Amongst the mature tropical fruit trees are to be found mango, avocado, cherry, breadfruit, soursop, banana and sour orange. There are also many other varieties of fruits and vegetables such as pineapple, ginger, dasheen (a root vegetable) and sweet potato that are in season at different times. There are also lots of quiet, shady spots to put up a hammock and simply while the time away. The secluded sandy beach lies at the center of the cove and is surrounded by rocky cliffs. Some of the best snorkelling on the island is to be found in and around the cove and the rocky reefs further out. Here there is an abundance of tropical fish, sea fans, and sponges. For the more adventurous, a cave and stone arch are just around the southern point of the bay.

General: As well as being a beautiful home or holiday get-away, this property currently does well on the short-term holiday rental market and as such would also serve well as an investment property.

Location: Tucked away in a sleepy hollow, this property is located less than 10 minutes drive from the capital city of Castries with its shops, amenities and regional airport. Scenic Marigot Bay is a mere 15 minutes away, while Rodney Bay with its marina, bars, restaurants and other entertainment facilities is approximately 25 minutes away. The Main House ... Pool House ... Hill Cottage ... Pool Bar ... Fresh-water pool & deck from the main house ... Pool house balcony ... Main house balcony ... Main house: master suite ... Main house: master bathroom ... Main house: fully-fitted kitchen ... Main house: study area ... Main house: shady deck ... Pool house: one of the ensuite bedrooms ... Soft, sandy beach ... View from the main house ... View from the pool house ... How much ??? US$5,000,000 ~ not bad hey :O) ROFLMAO
